Shaft coolers

The new generation of shaft coolers effectively uses cooling air for efficient heat recovery between the cooled material and cooling air, which is then used as combustion air in the rotary kiln.

Material flow can be directed by vibrating feeders according to the temperature of the cooled product. High cooling efficiency allows continuous running of the kiln line with minimum excess of combustion air, which significantly improves the heat balance of lime production. The efficient heat recovery decreases the operating costs of lime production.
